Pregnancy is a great personal journey for any woman and is a time of mental and physical change. Having said this, pregnancy is a time where the female body begins to change which means that adjustments need to be made as the body makes those changes. A pregnancy yoga practice can help address some of these mental and physical changes in a very positive way. Women who practise yoga during pregnancy are able to remain present and calm in their bodies and connect with their baby in the womb. This in turn has a calming effect on the mind and is transmitted to the baby. All new attendees are asked to fill out a prenatal medical form at the main reception before attending class.
